5 years ago Red Knight had a dream, an idea, a moment of divine providence. Call it what you will, but in that moment Wavelength was born.
5 Years later, Wavelength as you knew it has been reborn.
Wavelength 2.0 has arrived.
WELCOME!!!!
I'll let the fact that 5 years of waiting is finally over for a second before I continue. Ready? Ok, take a deep breath we have a lot to get through.
First I should point out the new games we cover (Take a look on the left, or the top). I'd like to say a very warm hello to (hopefully) all the new Quake3 and Unreal users who are having a look around. We don't have much in the way of guidance for you at the moment, but if you have a tidbit of information please feel free to submit a tutorial.
That leads me nicely to my next topic, tutorial submission. We have totally revamped the way this system works over the old site. It's now totally dynamic and community driven. That means you have to submit it your self, not post it to us. There is a complete guide to the process right here. You will of course need to register which couldn't be easier, just click that big ol' register link up the top there, or click here if you're feeling lazy.
Remember this site can't run with out you, so if you have some knowledge you would like to share for ANY mod for ANY game, especially Half-Life, Quake 3 or Unreal based games then please do contribute. If you specialise in another game engine then get in contact with us and we'll talk about setting up a section for it.
I think that's about it for now, so why not have a look around and get used to it. If you have a comment then feel free to email feedback@thewavelength.net or post in the forums.
2.0 has been a very long and hard and LONG struggle, but we finally made it. The fun is however only just beginning . |
